ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man who shot two dogs on Friday morning has been charged with one count of criminal possession of a weapon. Albany Police responded to the 200 block of Second Street for reports of a shooting early Friday morning. They located two dogs that had been shot. Both dogs were transported to the emergency veterinarian hospital in Latham. One dog sustained a non-life-threatening wound. The other sustained a serious wound and had to be euthanized.Shortly after the report, police were notified of a man who had entered the emergency room at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. NYS receives $500M to rehab bridges

ALBANY, N.Y. (WTEN) -- New York state is home to over 17,000 bridges that we drive on every day. State officials announced over $500 million will be distributed to localities to rehabilitate bridges and culverts  - which are those tunnel structures that allow water to pass through. That funding being provided through the states BRIDGE New York initiative, a program that provides money to localities to improve infrastructure and make New York more resilient to the impacts of climate change.  New York not able to get around SCOTUS education decisions "There’s just more and more compelling evidence that our road and bridge program in New York State is still underfunded," said Mike Elmendorf, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Associated General Contractors of NYS. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department arrested a 22-year-old twice in three hours on Thursday, July 6. The suspect caused injuries to two separate men. Police located a 60-year-old man with injuries to his face and head. He was treated by emergency medical personnel and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.Police arrested the suspect, Taezi Washington. Police determined that the victim was sitting inside the restaurant when Washington and another male approached him and began to punch him. Man beaten, robbed near Collinsville shopping plaza; suspect wanted

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. - An investigation is underway after a man was beaten and robbed Thursday evening in the parking lot of a Collinsville shopping plaza. The robbery happened around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Beltline Road. The victim avoided serious injuries, but had his cell phone stolen. Mayor refuses to talk about expired tags until he gets 25 push-ups When the victim started walking to his car, which he parked near Club Fitness, he was approached by an unknown suspect and struck in the head with a blunt object. The suspect didn't make any demands to the victim, but took off with the victim's cell phone, which came loose when the victim fell to the ground. The Collinsville Police Department is searching for a suspect who is described as a Hispanice man around 5 feet, 8 inches tall and possibly in his 30s. Access to the historic Crystal Mill near Marble, one of Colorado’s most iconic photo locations, was blocked in May by owner Chris Cox to prevent trespassing and vandalism at the fragile, 131-year-old structure.The closure, first reported by the Colorado Sun, came in response to trespassers who have stolen pieces of the building and defaced it in other ways. But it does nothing to diminish the experience of visiting the area and photographing the mill, according to Sam Smith Wilkey, who owns Crystal River Jeep Tours in Marble.
